Jeremy Reffin is a Research Professor in the AI Research Group at the University of Sussex, UK. Since 2010, he has co-founded two AI research laboratories at the university in the fields of Natural Language Processing (with Prof David Weir) and Predictive Analytics (with Prof Novi Quadrianto). He is also a founding partner at CASM Consulting LLP, an AI consulting firm, and a co-founder of Astute AI Ltd, a company focused on decision-making under uncertainty. Prior to this time, he was a partner at Apax Partners, focusing over a 13-year career on venture capital and private equity investments in the healthcare field. He currently also works as an advisor in the private equity industry.
